High Blood Pressure Reduced With Acupuncture

High blood pressure (also known as hypertension or HTN) is a serious medical condition characterized by elevated arterial pressure. More than 90% of hypertension cases are classified as “Primary Hypertension,” which means that no particular medical cause can be pinpointed. The remaining cases, secondary hypertension stem either from conditions of the kidneys or the endocrine or circulatory systems.

Symptoms of high blood pressure include headaches, dizziness, visual disorientation and drowsiness. In a large number of cases, external factors, namely changes in diet and stress management can help lessen or even eliminate high blood pressure.

Acupuncture treats blood pressure, often successfully. As the pressure corrects one can slowly reduce medication. The point sites I often chose just for this situation are on the middle front of the torso, and middle back of the torso. These points will clear a loop of energy flow, think electrical current and the electro-magnetic field radiating from the electrical flow (yes it is micro-amperage). Energy flow sounds nicer doesn’t it? The physics and the science of acupuncture point sites and pathways are well established. Trying to understand it will raise your blood pressure! Just kidding, for me it reduces it. Well, trying is one thing, and actually understanding is another… Most of the people I treat for blood pressure have wonderful results.
